relationship with the less developed countries: nanotechnology can reduce the gap between developed and third world?
This
debate is a central issue for its importance today for its potential. What are the consequences if, through nanotechnology, it sought a way to overcome the canker or AIDS? I do not think it is possible to predict what might happen with a discovery but it seems important to think how we could help the least developed countries in our research. For my lack an impostor humanitarian, why do you always represents the goal of these studies and expensive, is the possible gain by people who invests the money. Only a minority of investigations have approach which focuses on possible aid for the poor. In the most cases for me only bring new technology to a widening gap in the differences between more or less developed countries. Perhaps in the future when we will have a heightened sensitivity to everything that concerns people who have been less fortunate in life, we will focus more on their problems. I'm sure that has already started to become more important this aspect in the lives of people in developed countries but I always talk about a minority that can not do much to address the problems of many people. Would have to change the education of people from when they start school and the process of knowing everything that surrounds us. We should have more respect for the other and then we can help with our expertise, from elementary things to the most important and complex.
The development of new technologies and labor market
Another debate that arose with the development of new technology takes care of the labor market. In fact there are two different ways: on the one hand there are people who believe that technology will lead to the disappearance of many traditional jobs. On the other hand there are those who focus on new job opportunities, thanks to these same technologies. In my opinion, you can not see the new technology as a problem, but as the result of an evolution in the labor market. Then there will be fewer jobs to work but different topologies. A novelty is the largest gap between different areas of work. Knowledge is what is known in the professionalism of the people. Today a simple example of what I said two areas of care that they never had anything to do: electrical engineering and biology. In fact the areas of these materials have been crossed and now the result is that the sector has been created (if you can define), are now looking at a development phase and the two are always more related fields. You can also find many other examples, in particular to nanotechnology. These new technologies have shot down the barriers between different sectors and so the people working in the field must always be ready and informed information of any kind.
Nanotechnology: To what extent it makes sense to influence the natural course of life? Probably
nanotechnology as we have said will help us overcome many problems and diseases that characterize our era. Make fruit more attractive to see and resist the weather and acid rain (which we have caused to our business and living habits.) People will live longer and perhaps taso go down the mortality in many countries. We can create a clone to have a source of life if we have diseases in any part of our body (the last year this issue was the center of a very important debate in Italy). But to what extent do you sense that? When the barrier is unlike what is right and crashing against nature? And who can define the confines of immorality?
